New Email Client Coming for Faculty and Staff

As part of the unification of Purdue North Central and Purdue Calumet, PNC decided to move its email system from Groupwise to Outlook. PNC believes this migration system will bring a better communication and calendaring system and an enhanced integration tool with the other Purdue campuses.

This migration is being performed on a department by department basis. Each department will receive an email telling them when they will be migrated with details on how to configure their new Outlook account for the first time. This roll-out is being done tentatively, to troubleshoot potential issues, with the IS department as it’s first volunteer.

More information about the Outlook migration can be found at:

IMPORTANT NOTE: During the transition, Cognos report writers will have the ability to create and/or modify reports in Cognos 8, however, please log the reports that are changed! After the transition to Cognos 10 is complete, the report writer will need to copy any reports created and/or modified during the transition period into Cognos 10.
